Yeah... It's funny because the Kobold stronghold is actually quite a bit harder than the other two, not to mention Aleport is easily the most difficult hamlet.

EDIT: For some reason I said they have high magic resistance when it is the complete opposite. Derp.

It's not only the AoE bomb others mentioned but also their really nasty magic resistance which makes nukes a lot harder (whereas you can destroy the Ixali quickly with Fire/Fira).
Aye and like others said all those DoT's and Enfeebles make it impossible to heal up.

wait, what? no. they're strong to melee physical, weak to magic. anyone who has spent 6-10 hours spiritbonding their unfinished relics (namely blm whm mnk) can attest to this. seriously. buffed thundaga oneshots them. thunder>thundara twoshots. they go down like butter.

i often feel like we're all playing completely different games... >.>

No you're right, I was completely confused for some reason. It is the physical resistance.

Also for those complaining about the DoTs: the other beastmen mages have those too.

Oh they do, it's just Kobold Thaumatarges are much more plentiful and uses them almost exclusively compared to other beastmen.

Shadowseer hurts a whole lot more than Dia, Banish and Levinbolt, imo.

Also, since ARR is going to reform the spells that enemies cast, I wonder how much of pushovers the beastmen will be. Or if they'll still have their own unique spells.
