Didnt Yoshi-P say there was a member of his staff, as writer or something, that he wished to keep as a secret for now?

And how he often keeps repeating that ARR is returning to roots, the storyline, the environments, the 'nods to former FF titles' which have all been old title acknowledgements.

Since he left, we've seen FF10, which removed the world map. FF12, with its complete departure in play style from any previous Final Fantasy title. FF13, a step in the right direction, but still lacking what made Final Fantasy great.

Are you serious? I've just woken up so my sarcasm sensors are not properly calibrated yet. XIII was god awful, XII was ok and X was great.
