Wouldn't they call it a "beta version" client then, as they do withe PS3 one?

To add to the confusion they're supposed to "reinstate limited free trial for PC version" in October. What does it even mean?

Probably a download... Distributing disks would be a waste of money and time for the company.

What do you mean? I just find it weird that they're going to start distributing the game client possibly half a year before the release of the game.

I just took it as you didn't think they had a system in place ready to handle this yet.

That is my #1 concern my max download is 300kb/s, what the size going to be 10 gigs? 15 gigs? I will at least pay for the shipping of a new disc I dont care I just dont want to DL for 3 days.

They keep saying that they are on scheduled, and the players who keep saying February or March seem to be mistaken.

- Commence PlayStation®3 system closed beta test
・Post-January 2013 – Version 2.0 client (PC and PlayStation®3 system) goes on sale
- Free trial period ends


Nowhere does it say anywhere about February or March, it may go on sale around those times, so ps3 users will have to wait till then to buy the game, but we should be playing the trial in early November. The trial will have all of our character data, so it is pretty much the current release of 2.0 for current players.

To be fair though, it's not their issue in this case, it's more of a personal problem This is the life of when people decide everything should be digital lol. There will likely be disks for the launch, but since most of us already bought the PC version, no need for us to rebuy it unless they will offer collectors editions of it as well.

I think it's mostly because people kept yelling at SE for not doing digital downloads.
