Yeah, from what Yoshi said the pointer is there exactly for that reason.

Anyone notice the clock in the upper right is synced to local time?
This is just a promo build. What is shown does not mean it'll be in the final product.

I know right. The presenter sounded like he was having multiple orgasms at one point.
Thanks for the video! Probably the best one so far ^^

Except I wouldn't consider blinking such a small thing. Especially in XIV where equipping a full armor set meant you were blinking like crazy and stuck in a place for a good couple of seconds.

Hahaha I remember capcom shouting messing up my Guild Wars 2 vids I was taking at Comic Con.
I don't know why the ARR panel wasn't in its own room like most cons.

Probably venue limitations. The sorts of places used to run cons differs greatly depending on if you are inside or outside the United States, which run more typically at hotel-based venues. The Kölnmesse is not such a venue.

My guess is that they wanted to approach the public this way, XIV has a bad reputation... Why would someone, other than us of course, want to wait in a queue to see the presentation? That queue would'nt be that long, but after all you would have to go in there in order to glimpse some of XIV ARR contents.
With an open presentation you could motivate the visitors just passing along.

I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned the "Moogle Mail Box"! That's a huge step forward for FFXIV!

Considering most of us who play XIV played XI a lot likely weren't surprised given in XI we had universal buddy lists, moogle ran delivery services (of special items) and a regular delivery box lol.
