Sorry, wasn't paying attention, about 13:00 at a guess.

Steps:
Chocobo'd out to Cedarwood Aetherial Gate from Camp Bearded Rock. NPCs at CBR appeared correctly, mobs on the way loaded up fine too. At Cedarwood, there are innumerable - my screen loads up about thirty of them - RMT characters (names like Kdjk Ssdsdf). I was under the impression that NPCs are supposed to load before PCs, but maybe because Battlewardens spawn every 30mins, the rules are slightly different. I waited around from 9:15 when I arrived to 9:30 when the Battlewarden is supposed to spawn, but it didn't. There was no chat log text as per normal from the Battlewarden (he usually does two shouts, I think). I put a shout out at the time, and other players noted they had not seen the Battlewarden for a long time (ie weeks). This problem persists.

I want to complete the achievement for 10x behests from each Battlewarden, but this situation makes it impossible. It's obviously a single group of players who are using the most efficient way to generate gil, but they're doing it in a manner that is obstructive to others' gameplay (well, mine!). Is there any way that you can get the Battlewarden to appear? I know you're not about to ban thirty gilsellers and lose all that subscription money, but if you could provide another solution (perhaps move his spawn point to somewhere a little further away from the gate?) it would be greatly appreciated.

You can close this thread now. I took some advice from a fellow Behester who let me know the Battlewarden spawns to the south and that I should wait far to the south so the gate is at the very top of the minimap and the RMT aren't loaded on my screen. The Battlewarden appeared fine.

So yes, a problem client-end. Hopefully anyone else with the same problem will use this experience to help them!
