Repeating something 100 times and be no closer to what I wan't than when I started just because I didn't get lucky is a ridiculous system.

Give us tokens, seals, totems, points or whatever when we succeed and I'll be happy to grind something 100 times because I'll know that all this work will pay off.

Hardcores will get their rewards faster and be special/first because they play more, and casuals will get theirs too eventually and nobody's effort will be wasted.

Happiness for everybody.

Don't take this like I'm attacking you, because that's not my intent at all. But your statement could easily be reversed to say: "Well if I can't get it, then no one else should be able to either". It looks like a constant tug of war between people with time and without it. It's an argument about who's experience should be hindered and who's should not. It honestly looks like this game is making its best effort to meet somewhere in the middle.

I myself don't have nearly the amount of time to invest in this game like some people do, but I'm still enjoying myself and have no harsh feelings towards the people who can. If you put the time in you should be rewarded, why not? It doesn't have to be miles ahead of the rewards people like myself will get in limited amounts of playing, but should still be available. From what I've learned you can just as easily buy and customize some of the best gear in the game if you've got the money. Meeting in the middle.

I think this solves the endgame problem well. Have a few drops too that are rare and maybe a few types of seals(whatever) one you get every kill one you get sometimes and one that is rare or something. Keeping both the excitement over what dropped this time but still at least reward everyone even if it is just common seal 1

If you mean WOW clone as far as outdated cartoon graphics, easy quests, Lack of story and cutscenes to pull them together, the worst AI with no intelegence, then no thanks.

I never could stand WOW long other then a casual game to take a break from XI or somethign more apealing.

THe AI in XI was much more intellegent and dynamic when compared to WOW. Even if it was an older game then WOW. We need that AI back.

As far as drops or gearing, more like Rift would be a better Idea.
