I want this game to be a success, that is why I hope they change the hell out of FFXIV, this game is wrong in so many ways.

I love how everyone simply expects Auto attack to actually bring in people.

Yep, while I'm not against auto-attack (i seriously don't care one bit, one way or the other), It is indeed rather funny, and it does show how much the OP knows about what this game needs (and who is actually stubbornly resisting change)![]()
NGE 2.0 man.
NGE 2.0.
I get the feeling alot more people will leave than come back. Besides, the real reason why everyone's leaving is because there's nothing to do.

Exactly. The majority of the ones that responded to the polls asked for more *content* to be implemented first. Most flaws in the systems (besides the most glaring ones, and in many cases not even those) aren't even noticed by the average player that just comes in to have a good time. What the average player notices is that the game doesn't give him stuff to occupy his time with.

of course were not going to see a consensus among the player base on what the "Correct" direction would be. We live in a world where a group of people can not agree on pizza topings. throw in the tribal mentality of were right there wrong among the smaller sub groups that do agree. bake for close to eight months at low temperature. and its a recipe for hilarity.

It sure will be nice once we get some information to actually be able to give some feedback as opposed to seeing these tired threads popping up out of the OP's boredom.
Pretty much my sentiments content is king. Sure some areas need some significant improvements, but convenience is different from substance. On the content front I'm open to any form of it being added.Exactly. The majority of the ones that responded to the polls asked for more *content* to be implemented first. The next biggest area imo is leveling.
Simple things like LFG q could improve partying somewhat. Some people like making parties some people like to join parties. A list of who's LFG helps both.
Improvements to behest, more viable leveling mob types, and further tweaking of leves can make the leveling process more enjoyable.
As far as combat system goes. When I go to fight NM's I can just use one bar if I want to, but two things happen when I do that. My DPS as pgl sucks and it's really boring. Lets see I have attack buffs, acc buffs, threat reduction, threat gain, self healing, and other misc stuff. Is pushing standard attack 3-4 times to get a 1000 tp or w/e so bad when you have all those other options to choose from if you level sub jobs? There's all different versions of standard attacks which changes things up further. PGL has pummel, flurry, light strike, and heavy strike. I guess if all you do is push heavy strike all the time yea it gets boring, but I would think that has more to do with play style not the combat system. Unless you want to be forced to play a certain way.
This isn't to say the combat system needs no improvement, but most of what I've seen on posts makes it seem like all people ever do is push one button when it doesn't have to be that way. Far as auto attack is concerned IDC either way, but i don't see the reason in wasting time on it now when content is the major issue. People didn't leave over auto attack from what I saw.

Exactly what I think. This battle system has a huge potencial, and I'm sad to see auto-attack implemented.Pretty much my sentiments content is king. And I'm sure most of the things people are complaining about wouldn't even be noticed if there was content. A LOT more content lol
