You realise you can see your character right there?
While it would be nice to have a preview in the window, we've managed for 2 years without it so far. I'm sure we'll manage without it if needs be.

Just about every MMoRPG has that bag system, but is that a good thing I wonder :/
You have to constantly manually sort stuff yourself. Items are easier overlooked too when the bags are really full.

I personally like the list better myself, I can easily see what I need to get. Instead of is that what or what?
What is the point in it being there at all if it shows nothing? It will not stay like that.
I see nothing wrong with it...ijsOk, well, umm, ya, look at this pic http://i.imgur.com/t6g7a.jpg They should show YOUR character instead of just a shadowy outline of a generic *insert what you are here*. Otherwise it's kinda stupid that it's even there.
I hate to be one of the masses to attack Rokien for the crazy disagreeable ideas, and normally that kind of feature I'm all for. But for this I can heartily disagree. I don't know, having any form of live representation of the characters in the UI always seemed so non-Final Fantasy to me. If anything, it should be an illustration (but that seems like a lot of work). So I would have to say keep it a silhouette (which I'm willing to bet will do something where when you rollover a gear slot, it'll highlight the part of the body on the shadow) or be rid of it altogether (which is how we have it now IIRC)

When all else fails, Heck the Bed.
Usually images like that are just to help the person distinguish which part of equip is what on the fly. So you can see that the hands slot is near the hands of the silhouette. It's mainly there to guide someone that is not used to the character window to figure out slots faster and for someone who is quickly glancing at it can figure out which slot is what. In the end, it does have its uses, and does not need to have the character shown on there.
