I know right ?! That caught my eye the most! a Better Character Menu! for Gear and Stats!

The magitek - hand looking thing is intriguing. Wonder if it remains as a stand alone type of monster, or if we'll see it by itself at one point, then joined by a body later on. Even as an upper torso sort of thing.

Thoughts:

1) Texture quality -1 (+) Aesthetics +10 = Totally Worth it
2) Female Roe looks great~ I was really hoping for a peek at the new race(s) though
3) RSE design is pure Akihiko Yoshida gold
4) The landscapes are beyond amazing. The world of ARR is detailed, rich and flavorful to the point of making even offline FF games seem stale in comparison. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with this.
5) Siren! /joy Primal? Maybe a summon monster for SMN??
6) Jumping Mounts- eh.. Choco's flapping wings makes it look good though. (How will they make goobbues jump??)
7) Fal Cie mob.. (whats the translation on that thing?) Interesting nod to FFXIII there...
8) Does anyone else get the feeling that we are going to see the sub-races removed (at least by name) in ARR?
9) Overall, this game is looking better and better by the day. Yoshi and team(s) are on track to surpass expectations to a stunning degree from where I'm standing.

7) Fal Cie mob.. (whats the translation on that thing?) Interesting nod to FFXIII there...

That is Deathclaw mob, it might be a mob made by the Garlean Empire, or the Garlean gods that might be like Fal'Cie that could be on Dalamund sense it looks magitek/fal'cie(ish) as well?

Thoughts:

The texture quality looks good, and it might not even be on the highest setting so don't put it down just yet.
