Did anyone see those screenshots?

Well, you may have forgotten this.. but Yoshi-P said they had to Downgrade the Graphics to improve Optimization and User friendly.

Please remember that better performance on lower-end PCs does not mean that the game has a downgrade on graphics. They already said that while lower-end PCs will be able to play at reduced graphics to play the game, higher-end PCs will not need to worry about this.

I really think downgrade is a poor choice of words. The graphics engine changed so the overall style did as well. Unless you can link to where he says downgrade I'd say it's best to put it differently. I think these screenshots look amazing, far better than what we've got now.

Meh, Okay the overall style changed, maybe he said Downgrade for those with low end computers.. /shrug. Yes the Screenshots look amazing to me anyhow =).

I remember thinking original FFXIV screenshots looked grainy... doesn't look like that in motion. People might need to calm down about the "downgrade" until we see it in motion in front of our own eyes.
