Lol, if only people see that free isn't always a "good thing" when I think of free.. I think that someone threw away a chair to the side of the curb and someone picked it up "it looks good on the outside. But the inside could have maggots and bugs >.<.
However there are times people throw away stuff that actually "Works" and in good condition and you have no idea why they would toss this aside. F2P is always 50/50 can be good.. can be bad.
FFXIV was F2P for a year. Where were they?

Only kids and manchildren say that because mommy doesn't want to give them $15 a month for a game. So meh to them.

"The visuals have been greatly improved."
I certainly don't see it. I mean the environments look great but in every one of these screenshots there's a grainy look and the ground textures look absolutely terrible. Hopefully that's either the picture, low resolution, or something else because....the ground looks soooo bad.

I've been looking through a lot of these, and I actually think the resolution is the reason."The visuals have been greatly improved."

I'm looking forward to see some 1920x1080 HD screenshots tbh.

It's Dragonfire Drive. If you zoom in you can see it says that.
