Kinda seems like someone turned down the saturation.

Alright, now that the fanboy in me calmed down. It's time to carefully look over the screenshots.

Like this one. Notice how the mobs seem to form a party to the left. Where you can follow all their hp's and such. Definately a plus to gameplay. Not to mention that it reminds me of every FF game. Where you saw the hp of the enemy group you fought.

Dont like, looks very grainy, hopefully these are just bad image quality.

The current in game screenshots are compressed and look pretty poor as well, it's not a reflection of what the game actually looks like. That's just how FFXI/XIV's screenshots have always been.
