I'll be honest - I'm all for the random death of other people's retainers, the ones who only set it there for giggles with an item being sold for max gil to decorate it? Yeah those can burn since people won't move from Ul'dah, however I'm not THAT attached to my retainers but it would be sad to see my lalafell die off, he's made me so much gil

Very interesting idea. Maybe those retainers with ridiculous names could be targeted, also, those retainers that do not meet 6'0" height requirement could be the first ones to go.

In all seriousnessity, I think this would be a great idea. Also, the ones who get their retainers killed may have a chance of receiving a bonus ring accessory as condolences.
