    1.23a Cutscene Crashes

    Is anyone else crashing in cut scenes ever since 1.23a? It's happened twice already tonight and is really annoying. First time was during the new investigator dude quest, and the next was during the CS for Living on a Prayer at the first prayer spot.

    It's the loss of DirectX crashes, which i hadn't been getting ever since i turned off Depth of Field. I use a GTX670.

    I just built a new computer with a 680 GTX it crashed about 12 times tonight, I noticed mostly when zone/chocobo/or teleport and CS too, wasn't direct X today (yesterday it did) was all "FFXIV has stopped working" and was all ridiculous. Only crashed a few times before patch today.

    I think this a pretty widespread issue with the 680 specifically and FFXIV. Even the Japanese forums are having an ongoing discussion about it. Sucks because I've been fixing to get one.

    Nah, had a friend who was crashing during CS last night too and they don't use a 600 series. There are problems with the 6xx, but this seems to be more than that.

    I was only crashing once in a blue moon ever since turning off DoF and AO, but something changed in 1.23a it seems.

    yeah this patch is screwed up. just completed always bet on black. got the win and right when cutscene started damn crash hit. log back in and then have to do the fight all over again. atleast others are have this problem not just me alone, cuz my connection usually is good, must be a server or error in files somewhere. something like that.

    I disabled cutscene effects in the config and it seems to have worked, though i still never had this problem before 1.23a.
