Do people always over price items?

I actually taught that prices were getting too LOW instead of too high.

Maybe its just because im newer to this game, but Im doing the research and some of these itmes on the market are cost waaayy less to make than people sell them for. Its not that I cant afford the weapon... its just I dont wanna feed someones greed.

Example: Ash Composite Bow is being sold for 50,000 on market.

Ingredients: Antelope Horn (16,000 per unit). 2 Ash Lumber (800~1000 per unit). Mole Sinew (100 per unit). .... All together thats 18,000 to 20,000 to make!! Where are people getting their prices from? Its not like its hard to get the items in this game..

Maybe there is something im missing here? Someone enlighten me please.

There is a huge amount of money in the game because of terrible economic management at game launch. That is why prices seem high, but they're actually really low because of incredibly tepid demand. What you list isn't even an unreasonable asking price.

Hey guys I think its useless argueing with this tool. What he forgets is the time it takes to farm the mats, and the time it takes to lvl the craft. How about you get over yourself and go lvl your own crafts to make your own gear. Instead of sitting here QQing on the forums bec you are too poor to buy something. Go work for your gil and items like the rest of us have. You also claim the materials are "so easy" to get, well then get them yourself and craft your own gear simple as that. People who dont help themselves dont deserve help from anyone els.

Furthermore everyone is so quick to blame the developers for how the economy turned out. When in fact it is not SE who builds the economy in this game its the player base. Personally the economy in this game is way way WAY better than most other games out there.

I price my items high so people won't buy it but they still do. But it's so hard thinking of higher numbers =(

You dont have to ''gather'' the materials'' because they are all sold in the market. You can attain them in 4 seconds lol. I understand a markup for the crafters work. But over 150% markup? For items that are available instantly without any farm? Capitalizing on someone's ignorance because you're greedy is just plain wrong. Im sorry. The items I quoted in my post are exactly the price I said they were in the market.. so ..

I also dont agree with charging WAAYY to much just because they leveld a crafting profession. Yeah maybe a 10~20% markup for profit. But not some of the stuff im seeing.

Can I charge people for buffs just because I leveld up a support class? If the community pats me on the back for beeing a greedy fuck then I dont see why not.
