    Spiritbond Meters and Materia

    Happy Tuesday!

    We received some feedback inquiring if we could remove the Spiritbond meter for equipment that can’t be converted into Materia. We felt it would be a good time to let you know that the idea behind Spiritbond is to display how often you have worn specific equipment.
    The Spiritbond system was not created specifically around creating Materia and an example of that is the relic weapon quest, which requires you to generate Spiritbond. It is also possible that the current list of unconvertible equipment can be made into Materia in the future.

    P.S. We are continuing to look into ways to prevent accidental Materia conversion.

    What would be cool is having the actual % of spiritbond show up near the SB bar ^^;

    For the Spiritbond by condition sorting option, it would be cool if it could be sorted by covertable gear being first on the list.

    I’m stopping by to give you guys a quick update.~

    It can be difficult to know exactly when your spiritbond gauge has reached 100% due to missing the message in the chat log. With the major changes to the UI in A Realm Reborn, we plan on improving this aspect of the game so that the method of notifying you when your spiritbond has reached 100% is much easier to recognize. ^^

    I am guessing it will have something to do with the Inventory Slots that are visible in the main UI.

    That's cool. It'd also be nice if that meter could flash rainbow, or at least be something other than blue when it maxes to make it obvious. And if we could get some form of a percentage display that would be fantastic.

    When spiritbond maxes out on an item, fireworks go off.

    Or it could look as if you were set on fire. Kinda like the effect that went off when you got a merit point in XI.
