    More than lag, action lock is the main reason... You're always bindend on the ground..

    Every action binds you.. And onlu god knows how i hate the action lock on buffs.. they should be istant while moving..

    But the old Tanaka team prefered to let you casting while moving, and make "poo" animation at every buff... :/

    Yeah, I think that's going away too, at least for the weaponskills.

    Oh, I'm sure they won't have it, and I think it would be bad to have it (as it would be very unpopular and not good for the game). Despite the fact that I would (probably) like it ^.^; That being said, if we had a turn-based card-game.... I would be quite excited.

    But what ever direction they go with dynamic, I hope it stays on the tamer side of action games. If it becomes like Street Fighter I may have problems ; ;.

    When people here say they want 'Dynamic' or 'more action' in the game, could someone say if they mean like how it was in FFXIII ? (closest game I have to compare to)

    No, you're not the only one. I doubt it will happen but I fear for a system where hand/eye coordination and fast button mashing are the only deciding factors in battle. I understand why people can get frustrated with action lock, I am too sometimes, but I also know that I would hate a system that did not give people like myself a little time to prepare the next action.

    I know the game really pissed off a lot of Final Fantasy fans, but I think FFXIII has the greatest fighting system of all FF. Battles were really fast paced and you really need to focus. It's a cool mix of "turn-based" and dynamic system. Add the possibillity to move your character, and a new combo system and it would be perfect.

    I were on GW2 site when i saw this:

    "Combat in Guild Wars 2 is flexible, fast-paced, and dynamic. You’ll achieve victory through timing, dodging, and quick thinking, not immobile number-crunching."

    It sounds like a real offense to slow-paced static game lol... (FFXIV anyone ? ) .. 2.0 BS really needs to shut up some mouths.. At least i hope :3

    I think TERA is a good example of "dynamic" since you're in full control of your character and everything is real-time. (based on my limited knowledge of it anyway) Apart from battle regimens, which I'm really looking forward to and hope that it brings back some of the cooperative elements of FFXI, I don't know what more they can do to build onto their turn-based combat system.

    Personally, I'm not expecting the combat to be drastically different from what we have now. We'll hopefully have a lot less UI lag and animation lock. Aside from the new BR system I'm expecting it to be pretty similar to what we have now, just better.
