Tanking Rotation

As far as weapon skilling rotation goes, I think i got it down pretty well. However, as of late, i've started seeing warriors use silver francsicas (thrown weapons) in their rotation while tanking. Does this throwing not interfere with swing timers or do these people just wanna throw axes for fun?

From what I've seen it gives them that little bit of tp they need to start a combo sooner. 2 Axe swings will usually only net around 900 tp, and they need 1000 to start their enmity combo. With such a long swing timer, the sooner they can combo the better.

I constantly use throwing weapons. It's a quick way to get TP, nothing more. I'm famous within certain circles for using bomb arms. People give me donations of bomb arms by the truck load.

Ive been tanking since a little after beta and never even thought to do this! Definitely gonna try it out next time we do something. Thanks for posting this!

The only thing I can add is that I try to time my abilities so you can fit an auto swing in. By spamming one ability after another you can delay your swiongs almost indefinitely, but by giving it that half a second delay you can get the tp but not waste any animation time.

Your throw doesn't overwrite your auto attacks delay, so you can throw whenever

Just a tip here, it's better to use farmable items for throwing. The difference you'll get in damage from throwing a Silver Francisca vs a Bomb Arm is negligible, so why not throw the cheaper item?

Or spend 75 seals on a stack of Levinstones. Rather than farming bomb arms you can do one caravan and instantly get like 6 stacks or more.

Yeah +1 on company levinstones. When those were added I felt like one of the few who actually cared lol.

There's also bronze fransiscas you can buy from a LL vendor and Exorcism Beans which is a low level CUL craft you can use for throwing. While the damage on them aren't much, they still will do damage and give you TP.
