Their apps didnt say require you to have beat any content, they do however wants to see how you gear yourself to see whether you have common sense or have the min-maxing attitude when it comes to playing this game, and dont come here with stats doesnt matter in this game bullshit.. By "not dress like a retard" do you mean:

A. Having triple+ melds

or

B. Wearing gear that doesn't benefit your current class/job?

That's quite the bracket of possibility of what that could mean, since dressing for your job is common sense, but when you ask for gearsets what are you specifically asking for? Anyone can get the appropriate gear, however what is the specific gearset that's being looked for?

It's more of like having common sense, for example a single meld INT hat on BLM is better than AF hat. Hence wearing AF hat = dressing like a retard. It's not entirely specific, but there is alternatives which is far better than AF hat and easily obtained, whats your excuse for keep wearing AF hat other than not knowing whats better for your class? It just screams "I dont know shit about my class"

BG is obviously not desperate for members so they are in a position to be extremely selective as far as recruitment goes. I feel half the playerbase hates them for some random reason then turns around and uses their strats to kill things...

If someone actually cared about this; I obviously play on Durandal occasionally when time permits. (Holidays, vacation, etc) and afaik Sonomaa won't be back to XIV until 2.0 and they stop making Bard come from Archer or something.
