    I canceled my account a couple months back, and couldn't re subscribe. called customer support and they quickly resolved my issue....super nice to boot!

    I've only had one bad experience with SE customer support and that was years ago in XI (was unable to log into main character, stuck on black loading screen D: . The GM was kinda curt and not very nice lol but the problem fixed itself a few days later), but all the other times have been really really awesome.
    The SE customer support staff really do go well out of their way to help you if they can, I really understand that sometimes hands are tied (and a few others need to understand that too lol) and that can make some problems difficult, but on the whole the staff are really helpful and lovely.

    /shout out to SGMs Jhanaka and Qeepel, really awesome folks!

    I like SE's support service they're pretty patience and tolerant, when I fell through the floor in Ul'dah a couple weeks ago Baudle contacted and asked me if I was still stuck. My reply was: Sup Pimp! and when the issue was resolved I called him Bobble and didn't get banned for it lol

    Also in the list of players that's had a very pleasant experience with their support, the few times I've needed it. Through either e-mail, chat and in-game. Always been helpful and friendly.

    No, I agree, this is uncommon. I've been struggling for months trying to get billing issues sorting out without success. See, I pay with my credit card for my account and my wife's account, and INVARIABLY, each month, one of the two accounts hasa billing failure. Each. Month.

    - Square Enix says my credit card company is blocking the transaction
    - Credit card company says they're not blocking anything, no "red flag" was raised by the system at any moment, and all transactions from Square Enix went through smootly. If any transactions didn't go through, then it's likely they never even received the transaction request from Square Enix in the first place
    - I explain this to SE, I get some apologies and a message stating they'll escalate the issue higher up and my ticket gets closed
    - PROBLEM NOT RESOLVED.

    They're really just tossing the ball at each other and no one wants to give me any details regarding the specific circumstances of the repeated transaction failures.

    I'm a middle man between two teenagers insisting the other one started it. It's unacceptable and unprofessional.

    Wow i didnt expect this much reply's and likes .Good to see many other people have also great experiences with support.

    I just wanted to make this post because i think its also very important to let other people see that SE support ( for me atleast) was one of the best ive experienced.I mean,a problem like i had could have been made very difficult and it "could" have taken days,or weeks to fix.That they were able to fix this in just 3 - 4 hours was astonishing imo.

    Sorry to hear about the above poster with billing issues though,i never pay with credit cards for mmo's,i like to use IDEAL instead,feels safer for a reason.

    Agent Emilie is the boss, she took care of my almost impossible to fix token issue and i got to keep all the bonuses to boot.

    People come to the forums to complain for a good reason. Square's support is shoddy in most cases, has been since XI. You're right to say that not all experiences are bad ones, although a lot of them are. For every one success story, there are at least a dozen failures. I'm glad that everything worked out for the OP. However, I hope that he never needs to report someone for harassment or contact a GM in regards to getting stuck in the game world.

    About a day ago, I got stuck in the game world myself and tried to contact a GM for help as I was unable to fix it by logging out/returning/teleporting. GM sends me an automated response after about twenty minutes telling me they aren't going to help, and then gives me the link to their support page.

    Today, somebody had been spamming Ul'dah /shout with racial profanities for a good two hours. After the first hour, I had gone to help somebody with their Dragoon AF body quest. I come back to Ul'dah thirty minutes later, and the guy was still there doing his thing.

    I made a thread about this, but of course it got locked by a GM. That seems to be the only time that they actually do something other than nothing. They won't help you if you get stuck and they won't do anything about people shouting racial profanities, but make a thread on the forums about how they do nothing, and you can be sure they'll lock it. Ironic, isn't it?
