Nice to know we'll get the new PC client for free. Can anyone link to some of the major proposed changes for 2.0? I see a lot of talk about random features such as battle regimens, but not sure where people are pulling this information from.

Not to mention that's just the info they gave us at first. There's been a lot since then in interviews, producers letters and mod/dev posts.http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...ser/index.html Looks at all the content down below just click Download!
We'll be able to download the new client, being prior purchasers of FFXIV. But if you want to play on the PS3, I'd assume you'd have to buy a copy in order to use it there.
I'm actually excited that it's coming out for PS3 too. That means that if I have my buddies over then they can just play on my PS3 or bring up multiple ones so everyone has a spot (I have multiple tvs). That way they no longer have to lug over their giant computers.
As far as the date vs. price goes, I'm surprised that Amazon even has a date listed, they usually hold off on that and never use placeholders until they hear from the merchant directly; same with price. Perhaps someone made an error or was a tad too hasty in their posting of it. Guess we'll see, but I can't imagine the PS3 edition would be over a year away. That seems pretty outlandish considering that the PC relaunch is slated for late December early January.
I can't waitgonna grab a copy when it's out for my lil bro to play :3
About three-six months for a port is normal...so a year wouldn't be to outlandish coming from SE and there snail paced work. We'll be able to download the new client, being prior purchasers of FFXIV. But if you want to play on the PS3, I'd assume you'd have to buy a copy in order to use it there.
