Official posts regarding Moon Phase and Guardian Diety

This is a long shot but does anyone have a link to an official post proving that Moon phase and/or Guardian Deity have no effects on any element of the game, mainly crafting?

I did lots of searching but came up with nothing.

Guardian diety + birthdate were said in some interview to have no effect. He refused to say whether or not the moon phase / time of day / etc. affected anything, in order to "leave some mystery for the players". I'm not going to look the interview, so take that with a grain of salt.

Personally, I think the moon phase stuff is a load of crap. Don't believe Ondore's lies!

Most people believe the Moon has impact simply because it was proven to in FFXI. We need large collective data before anyone knows if it does in FFXIV or not.

I know when Tanaka was still in charge, it was mentioned that the guardian diety/birthday effects would be implemented at a later date... but then. Well, new crew. Its probably somewhere on the list of things to do, just not a priority.

Some LS members and I have been testing moon phase and are under the impression there are hidden effects. After trial and error some LS members have been able to find out their prime moon phase and have found that they are acquiring more HQ materials when gathering as well as successfully HQing items more often. It also seems double and triple melding is happening more often during said crafters moon phase. We don't have any hard data this is all based on seeing it happen.
