There's no real hard evidence yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it effected fishing, since it does irl and ffxi. Crafting is another question though. Nothing was proofed in XI about crafting, if you want a good rage thread just post quest about that topic.

Anyways, either way, I say follow what you believe works if it doesn't harm anyone

This is a long shot but does anyone have a link to an official post proving that Moon phase and/or Guardian Deity have no effects on any element of the game, mainly crafting?

I did lots of searching but came up with nothing.

back near launch, before we had the forums, it was confirmed by the old director that they did not in any way shape or form have an affect on anything
