60fps cap for 2.0?

I was refering to how hot this game makes peoples GPUs run, I didn't mean that it will actually melt.

Any other game maxed out my GPU runs between 65-70c but on FFXIV it hits 85c+

it could. an LS mate of mine had is mobo actually catch fire during the early days of playing this game.

Human eye sees at 60FPS anything higher than that doesn't matter.

I had to lower the graphics to compensate the amount of heat this game was releasing.

I can't be sure, but given the amount of heat my own gfx card was generating at the time, my guess is that it was his GPU ultimately caused it.

While the details have not yet been decided, we are planning to make it possible to select from 30fps, 60fps and uncapped settings. ^_^
