[Suggestion] Party in The Unending Journey

The only bummer about re-watching my cutscenes is that I'm always solo. I think it'd be really great for video-making purposes if those who are in our party when starting the scene appear in it, as well.

I mean, the code's already there, isn't it? Just... turn it on? Is that possible?

Or is the book just hitting the original flag, and the original flag only proc's if the party is in the same zone, which they aren't because the inn is an isolated instance?

Say someone was making a Seventh Umbral Era movie for their own nostalgic purposes [HINT], it would really make that a lot better if that person wasn't bringing down the Empire's VIIth legion alone (even if it would do wonders for e-peen).

I'm for this! It'd also make for neat "linkshell screenshots" if you could choose who you want in the cutscene!

I bet it doesn't store who you clear it with currently. Maybe it should store whoever you last cleared it with? But then...
- Does it go look up all their current gear? What if they're crafting or gathering atm, that would look weird.
- So it probably should store their gear too, that means store 7x equip lists + character appearance data for every single cutscene, not feasible when you have thousands or hundreds of thousands of players?

Maybe we can watch cutscenes with our Free Company in 2.0?

They could have people currently in the party show up in your CS when you select which CS you choose to watch.

^ That's what I meant. That it would take your current party list into consideration. It would just have to pull their current state into the CS like it would normally.

I think the problem really might be that they're just not in the inn zone with you - which, at first glance, wouldn't seem to be a very big thing to change.

Then again - I'm still fighting for my right to use my abilities and NPC shellphone from chocoback.
