    Square don't have a choice. It has to support trophies. The real question is how playing on PC will affect this. If I complete a trophy requirement on PC will I gain it when I log in on PS3? It was never my intention to play on PC but the PS3 game never came. I would be seriously annoyed if all my progress on PC stopped me from gaining trophies on PS3.

    It'll probably be handled the same way that it was handled for the 360 - go talk to an NPC in-game while playing on your console, and the NPC will flag the trophies for you.

    The alternate possibility is to simply give the game the means to flag trophies that you've already completed. Achievements on the PC were handled in this fashion since the achievements weren't added to the game until after players had already completed a number of them.
