..and I WANT it to happen °-°
Problem is...I guess we'll get a cutscene and that's it.
Us actually playing out the battle against the Garleans? The real (non instanced) Eorzea shaking and crumbling and meteorites falling from the skies? All the NPCs cowering in fear and talking about the end of the world?
Yeah that's not going to happen.
It would be way to expensive and time consuming, even more so for something being removed before 2.0 hits.
But I WANT to believe they'll do it that way, because it would be so unbelievably awesome..![]()

I actually see this playing through flashes of catastrophe and the camera panning around dead bodies.

It really would be cool if this played in every zone. But then again, consider this... Could it even be a battle theme?

please SE dont disappoint me in how you going to end 1.0 .

I dunno if the crash should be a realtime event (I think not 'cause then many people will miss it), but I think it would be awesome if Dalamus was taking up half the sky any everything was in silent chaos with this theme playing.

The only way I could describe this: disturbingly awesome
Though it's very hard to make out what she's singing.
Yeah I guess that makes sense. I agree with you though that would be the coolest possible outcome in lieu of a RT event being unpractical. Bring Dalmund in super close play this music in every zone and then have the actual crash be the opening CS for 2.0 or something.
Even though this music is perfect I bet it turns out to be used for something else totally unrelated though lol.

It's this song: http://youtu.be/2poCjqoSqOY
Except filtered with a sort of muzzled/cave ambient sound over it. Or just techno equalizing over it. lol
It'll probably play during either the last cutscene in the game with every main scenario character either praying / bracing for impact.
Or like the all the original folks here described, Last day all area zone like in zelda the something something or flashback in 2.0 which i doubt. ;x
