This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard..
How the hell are they supposed to tell if people who do not already like this game like the new game if they only allow players who currently play in to the beta?
There are also over ten thousand legacy members.. It wouldn't be any more fair to just give two thousand of them a beta key.I'm sure the line gets used alot for "Stupid" thing but it really isn't the "Stupidest thing ever" :P.This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard..
Again if you read my 2nd or 3rd post I said its how I "feel" and I added a Realistic response.
yeah because none of us bitched, complained, criticized, suggested, criticized, bitched, complained until this game became playable so that all you that jumped ship could quickly come in and claim legacy simply by buying 3 months of game time.
you're welcomeMost Legacy players just kept an eye on the game because they thought it had potential and that's why they were informed enough to return at some point when there were enough changes to make the game playable again.

I think Starlord is looking for priority not exclusivity. This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard..

I do not support this thread, I think just because I stuck with ffxiv in the bad times is exactly why I should not be who reviews the beta. Of course I want a variety of players to bug fix and test the beta version and I want a spot in the test but to give me priority is going to be a bad choice. I'm sure Yoshi already knows this and wants a large variety of players testing.
Well, thats how I "feel" but I don't need to be in Beta, the people that been here since day 1 never gave up on the game stuck with it through its hardest of times. ( This is what I Originally thought).
(After seeing the Comments) I realized that in order for the games Success other people that haven't played in FFXIV yet and people that quit show take part in it too, so when they see how Potentially A Realm Reborn is, they can Word of Mouth all of that to there friends and online companions to increase the population of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn. ( This is the Most Realistic Answer to me).
I know we will all be in 2.0 Beta at some point and Enjoying 2.0 Launch so that enough should be enough for me.
Edit: However if I happen to get into the Beta I won't complain I'll be enjoying it. If not, I'll just see the Reviews of the Beta! .

well of course they will take part but I damn well better get priority. I didnt stick through from the start through all the crap just to be crapped on some more. I think it is pretty sad all the "those who stuck around cant provide feedback adequately" talk. If it wasnt for us the game probably would have just cancelled and it wouldn't be in a playable state. The so called "inadequate" feedback is what has kept this game going and moving into 2.0.Well, thats how I "feel" but I don't need to be in Beta, the people that been here since day 1 never gave up on the game stuck with it through its hardest of times. Exactly, if it wasn't for us FFXIV probably wouldn't be near 2.0 or even have it at all. I do feel like we should get Priority Yes, but I also think of the Well-being of FFXIV's Lifespan.. If I just think of my self and Fellow Legacy members it probably wouldn't end well for FFXIV in the long run.well of course they will take part but I damn well better get priority. However, Yoshi-P said that they are working to get people who are currently playing FFXIV in the Beta ( which most of them are Legacy related players). So I won't worry too much.
