we have seen some concept arts of Gridania long time ago where you can see that gridania will fully re-designed. i cant find it anymore unfortunatley.

i doubt that the main cities will look like before.

Yoshi stated allready that they wont change the Main-Cities really much. ( With that Concept-Art under Uldah im not sure anymore ), but the Concept-Art you have in your mind are actually Outposts and a Chocobo-Farm, not the City itself.

at the left upper corner you can see that the houses are mainly built on water. like windurst in FFXI.

We will get Sahagins soon, so i could imagine they will be in the Black Shroud. And since the Black Shroud is a zone from Grid i could imagine the "outposts" or w/e it is will look similiar in design and their Building-structure.

the pictures of limsa and gridania on the reboot homepage do not show 2.0. screenshots (not even the new graphic engine)

well i think the new FFXIV 2.0. page is a little messed up.. while the Ul'dah region page shows us new 2.0. concept arts .. gridania and limsa only shows old alpha version screenshots of FFXIV 1.0., great.

Sahagin's are attacking Limsa Lominsa together with Travanchet ( Mistbeard Cove ), which you will see in Mainstory of Limsa.. they will tell you about the War between the Sahagins and the Barracuda Fleet and how their Primal Leviathan is fighting against those Fleet. Where did anyone say that they live in underwater caverns? Beside that, we are not able to swim or even go underwater for now.. doesnt make sense at the moment to put mobs there, right?

Well now you're just both making stuff up.

We know that there are some Sahagin located in Cassiopeia Hollow, as noted by Brunadier at Camp Bloodshore. We also know that they once inhabited Shposhae, but have since been cleared out. Aside from that though, there has been no indication as to where their stronghold is located.

The Cieldalaes are mostly uninhabited, and are used mainly as a stop for fishermen traveling to and from Limsa Lominsa and as of last week, the training grounds for Skirmishes. The isles are also known for their spinach, clams, and certain types of fish.

thats not gridania, look at the concept map again (or reinhearts translation), its a small village outside gridania with an aerhtryte and an airship landing, its labelled differently to a hamlet however.
