I am totally disgusted about this new gear. Why would you do such a thing SquareEnix?
Is this the direction that the game will be going in 2.0 - A Real Reborn? You're taking fanservice WAY too far.

How can this even protect you in battle? This is blatant objectifying of women in general and I am appalled at how Yoshi P. can even support this.

Please either change this to cover up more of then skin/remove it, or I won't be resubscribing for 2.0.

Well, to be fair to the fans of the game that asked for "more sexy gear" and to Yoshi P. and his team, the items are only from faction leves, and to be honest, they're not even that great to take into serious battles. So don't expect everyone to start wearing them.

And secondly to support last year's summer event, which gave everyone bikinis to wear, which are essential the same thing you see before you, plus some more black garbs thrown on it and what not to differentiate the two apart.

You don't have to get the gear or look at it if you don't want to. It's not going to ruin the game's image.

There's already people running around in their underwear and swimsuits already and the game's doing great as it is, and even greater in the future when FF XIV: A Realm Reborn launches, I'm sure of it!

But in your defense, I can understand it may not appeal to you and you may not like the style or the amount of skin being shown off to appear sexy, but like I said before, they threw it in to please the fans who asked them for it. So they listened to their fans and made them happy, but equally making some others unhappy in the process.

You can't simply please everyone on planet Earth at once, it's just not possible no matter what scenario you have.

But for your benefit I can almost guarantee you that you won't see many players running around with this in mass numbers simply because it is not made for war it is made to wear around and show off to appease the fans that wanted it.

There most likely will be some new types of sexy gear in the future and much, much more covered gear in the future to come. So no sweat unsubscribing for it, but I do understand your issue somewhat and respect your decisions.

I'm kinda surprised this thread has stayed alive this long. We need gear like this cause enough people want gear like this. Its all part of keeping the players happy and stuff. We do tend to give them our money after all so I would think they would try to keep as many of us happy as they can.
