Discontinued Content in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn

Bayonne, can we please finally get some confirmation on whether we will be able to get primal weapons in 2.0? I am having a heck of a time to find anyone willing to do Garuda since the fix and I was unable to get into a party for anything but the win at the time.

I would just like to know whether I can just kiss Garuda's weapons goodbye and not bother thinking of her anymore or I can wait until 2.0 where there will be a larger player base, especially with cross server capability.

I'm kind of worried about the re-playable cut-scenes. If the old cut-scenes are going to be significantly reworked. Can we still re-watch the new reworked cut-scenes for the main scenario? I am not making a new character to re-watch them, nor am I using Youtube. :/

No need to be worried:

For the level 50 players, of course they can try out the new main scenario of 2.0 and complete the battle against the Garlemald Empire, or try out the new Crystal Tower content; so, you can start trying out the end content if you want to, or, of course, if you can try the new scenario from scratch, there'll be several options given to players.

Question about Relic Reborn Quest:

Anyone know if all of our forward progress will be erased, and/or if the items we will have worked hard to farm etc. will be lost/ or null and void come 2.0? I am still working on obtaining my 9/9 hamlet seals and therefore, am a little worried that I might still be on the dungeon or primal portion of the quest when the server is shut down. As it is looking like both the Dungeons and Primals are subject to the re-working/or just gonna be gone, not sure what they will do with our forward progress. So any information would be appreciated.

Hey everyone!

As we have mentioned previously in the past, quests that are not completed by the time 2.0 is implemented may have their progress rolled back. In regards to this, we will be making an exception for the quest “A Relic Reborn” so that players can maintain the pace that they are most comfortable with.
