Nice trailer - Terrible voice acting tho

I really was not a fan of the voice, but that's just my personal preference against cheesy voice overs in general. I'd rather just have some incredible music, sound effects, and the occasional text to read, rather than having someone read it out for me in a silly voice. I loved it though, and I can't wait to see more of the First Emperor of Garlemald, and some actual gameplay!

I agree. It could have been so amazing without it. Now it's just a bit too shameful to share to my friends or anyone who's not a ff-fan.

Everyone I know had the same reaction that the voice seems off for some reason, poor actor guy I feel bad for him. Not that he's a bad VA, just for some reason he doesn't fit the tone I would have personally picked out.

Could be worse though, they could have hired Gilbert Godfrey to perform it instead!

When i showed it to my brother his reaction to it was "i wouldnt show that in the store that i work" so yeah.... the trailer would have been so much better without the voiceover. I just cant stand the trailers they've done with voice overs recently they make me cringe. Alot of players in my ls had the same reaction too when the link to the trailer was handed around.

Just put starlord on blacklist and you won't see those comments anymore since he's like the only one who says it, repeatedly.

I have nothing against him personally, so there's no need. My post wasn't directed at him anyways - just those types of comments. I was just making a point, not singling anyone out as you have.

Yes, the voice acting wasn't the best. And yes the trailer was good it was just CGI, We all know SE can do good CGI's. Show me the trailer of gameplay, then i'll be happy.

I don't know if the voice actor is really to blame. I try to never blame actors. It's the voice director that is to blame. Many people were responsible for how that sounds, who are certainly more to blame for how it sounds than the actor.

I think the trailer should have been introduced by J.K. Simmons. Same actor who introduces the Legend of Korra. That would have made this trailer epic.
