Nice trailer - Terrible voice acting tho

The original trailer for the game did have very slightly better voice actors. That said, if hiring talent for voice acting in a trailer is where SE decides to skimp on costs, I'm totally cool with that. Putting the money into the GAME = better idea.

Edit: Also, i'm not sure if this is true, but I think I recall hearing that the voices in the Good King Moggle Mog fight were SE dev team members singing. What if it's voice acting by a Square Enix employee, in which case everyone is dissing on some poor dev team member doing his best to do a European accent? If that were the case it would probably be categorized under amatuer voice acting, and then it would be pretty impressive.

The man's voice is kinda scratchy, as if from a lot of smoking. Yoshi-P probably smokes a lot, even that drawing of him had a cig in his mouth.

Already confirmed they rebuilt the engine specifically for XIV using methods from Luminous.
