Soooo...most of the population of Aldenard is going to get wiped out by the meteor shower, yet all of us Adventurers are going to get teleported to the future. Then we all reappear and start kicking the crap out of the Garlean Empire. I want to see how this is going to play out...I was really hoping the Echo was going to be involved. I think I would have rathered us seeing everything as it's happened so far as a flashback or a look into the future and then we come out of it and the game picks up there.

Echo was a convoluted concept to be honest. The fact that there's Cavernous Maws in the .dats proves they're going the better route of handling something like this xD

I dunno, I'd see that as a huge cop out. Basically, we couldn't think of anything so it was all a dream. While the current explanation isn't leaps and bounds better there's at least some consequence to it.

Part of me is glad to see him back, but another part of me hates him because he was plastered onto the terrible box art for the original game. Hopefully we'll get some better box art this time around.
