The stats on the DOH hats kinda bother me, all the mats required seem extremely easy to get yet they are comparable to the DOL hat stats lol. I wonder why they made it such a pain to get the DOL hats but a cake walk to produce the DOH hats. Out of the 160+ runs I did in hamlet I only saw a hat drop 2 times, though I imagine every DOH will be sporting their hat by the end of the week.

Crafting their own "AF" gear makes sense given their profession..how would DoL have gathered their gear? Miners just happen to find one laying in a random cliff? xD

It's not a "pain to get" it just takes awhile. Those who aren't level 50 DOH will have to work towards getting it which also takes awhile.

It's more like this. consider that the materials needed to make the DOH head pieces are alrdy in the game, so people are already stockpiled to make them once the game goes live.

What they should have done if the stats are indeed accurate is have the +5 attirbute on NQ but have the HQ have the "double down odd +10" on it to actually make the HQ piece desirable. It just seems a bit off to include the double down +10 on the NQ when you consider that anyone can make these with a 100% success rate if they have all 5 "advanced progress" skills attached lol.

As for the DOL hamlet pieces the could have easily made it where DOL can earn it by having them supply each of the hamlets with x amount of materials rather than rely on not only luck for it to drop, but also the 1/8 chance of it dropping into their inventory to someone who might not even have DOL leveled but will keep it because of how rare it is.

I think the rings may convert to new materia. There is new materia in the .dats with the same names with unknown stats.
