Probably. Notice how in the patch notes there is no picture of Van Darnus (they always put a pic of primals when they add them, even a trailer). Also no mention of any drops (which also always had a trailer before the primal came out)

To Kill A Raven is Yoshi's new cunning challenge to us... climb up 100 floors of lvl 99 mob-infested Dalamud (Nael Van Darnus' new crib) and defeat him... or else you cannot log out. Yep, I'm making a direct and shameless reference to Sword Art Online's story. Rumours hold that these are the only rules:

- Any attempt to log out or if you fall in battle will ensure that your character will be deleted and you lose all your items. In addition, the white mage skill "Raise" has been adjusted and will no longer exist after patch 1.23.

- You have until the launch of 2.0 to complete this mission, (news of the beta in Oct was just a front...this IS the beta finale.)
