Message to solo players

Yeah this was great game also to solo. I only got disappointed as I could almost reach BM status without big group. In that time I have to spend for this game. They decided to make this for people who have time to queue to groups. So sad. And bad business idea these days. Main lines sd be open for everybody and hard tasks like for bigger groups. Thanks for all I have met here and welcome to ask help or chat in newer mmo's. I'm sure u will recognize me.

For this content finder is coming with 2.0
And you need for all AF quests a party if you do it with the required level. Of course you can do most of the quests solo if you can simple do them with level 50. But the level 50 quest you can't overlevel and need in the end anyway a party.

You are trying to do something intended for groups (Black Mage) and complaining about how it is impossible to acquire alone. Also, your use of bizarre idioms is hilarious.

Northman, I'm a casual gamer, and you're inciting my own rage and disapointment.

There is plenty, of content out there that is solo capable. There is nothing at all that prevents your Thaumaturge from reaching level 50, or any of your classes for that matter.

But please understand that 'Jobs' are a party function. You unlock them to change your class into a role specifically for the utilization of other people.

"Black Mage" and "Solo" are not two words you should be using together for anything meaningful, and that includes your Artifact armor.

Additionally, you've yet to truely explain what your animosity is against partying with others. You state issues about waiting around for a group to get together, but this matter is already in the process of being addressed with Content Finder.

The reason why you're getting such a harsh reaction is that your complains belie the lack of information you have, as well as they are unreasonable given the context of what you are talking about.

I am a soloist for much of this game and I do agree that some content must be soloable to keep players sustained to prevent burn-out on party based content.

But Jobs and AF isn't it.

So please stow away the outspoken disappointment for now. We are at the end of the 1.xx era of FFXIV and there is much on the horizon.

In all seriousness, I would like to see more solo/duo content as well. I suspect that the future Class AF gear quests will be more focused towards casual players - Something I'm excited about~

Stick around Northman, 2.0 is right around the corner. Don't ditch the game before you try the final version.
