i don't get it? I solo level'd and quest maybe 3/4s of the game.

If you're talking about the Aurum Vale AF then I'm positive anyone could solo that. All that gets in your way is the 4-person minimum entry.

Whm + War (or pally) duos have always been my favorite. With that you can pretty much do anything outside of instanced play.

Just a random thought. But doesn't unlocking everything up to level 50 BLM require a party? At least the final battle should.

You can solo everything up to the AF. All it requires is Sleep (earned at level 42) and some tactical thinking. Mega-ethers help too.

And the party is needed not only for the AF piece in AV, but also to complete "Into the Dark", since I don't know too many people who can beat (most of) Dzemael Darkhold while solo...

(Or even get inside, for that matter!)

In short, make some friends. Or go stand in Uldah for five hours shouting until you can get enough people together for a party (I've certainly seen plenty of that...).

I suspect that, for the OP, "Into the Dark" is going to be the hardest part of the whole BLM chain, assuming he hasn't already completed it.

Yeah this was great game also to solo. I only got disappointed as I could almost reach BM status without big group. In that time I have to spend for this game. They decided to make this for people who have time to queue to groups. So sad. And bad business idea these days. Main lines sd be open for everybody and hard tasks like for bigger groups. Thanks for all I have met here and welcome to ask help or chat in newer mmo's. I'm sure u will recognize me.
