    How 2.0 Primal Fights Should be.

    Hello, it's me again, your lovely Rokien.

    So, we all know that each primal fight is going to be instanced in 2.0. I don't think it should be that way. Now that the primals are going to be out in the open, that's where they should fight, in the open world itself. Or I should say, they should bring their battle grounds to the open world. Lets take ifrit(most everyone should be familiar with the ifrit fight), right now we fight ifrit in the "Bowl of Embers". Which is an awesome battle field. What if we take that battle field(the ring of fire part) and place it in the open world. That would be pretty cool right? You claim Ifrit in the open, and as soon as you claim him he will spawn that bowl of embers in the open world leaving the ones who claim him inside. Not only is this a very dynamic feature(which I don't know how possible it would be), the battle field will change depending on where you claim the beast.
    As a random adventure running about. It would be and awesome sight to see as well. Out in the distance you see fire, you are like "What is this!?!" you run up and see an epic fight going about.

    Now lets say you claim ifrit in a snowy area, maybe he could be weaker, less health or less damage. On the contrary if you capture ifrit in a firey area, he will be stronger, or maybe he will do more moves.

    Now, you people are going to be like "I don't wanna sit and watch a fight", you don't have to, in fact, you can just walk away, because you would be doing the same thing if you couldn't see the fight(instanced).

    Lets say said group fails, should ifrit jump in the air and run off, making it where you have to search for em, OR should he just stay there and let the next group claim em, if they can?

    Maybe if we catch ifrit at pony land it will shit rainbow.

    How I envisioned it was something similar to how Dark Ixion worked in XI. Even if a group loses for example you can't just immediately claim him as he's running away to a new zone without a certain item.

    Ya, I kinda put that their in the bottom

    Me personally I would like it if he ran away. Though I left it as a question to see what people would like best.

    Game, set, match. Programmer-wise, would be extremely difficult

    Now, you people are going to be like "I don't wanna sit and watch a fight", you don't have to, in fact, you can just walk away, because you would be doing the same thing if you couldn't see the fight(instanced).
    i see 2 major problem with this:
    1) popping the area after claim is asking for griefing and glitch, since potentially another pt can come nearer before engaging and ifrit should deal with 2 different group instead one
    2) if someone comes too near, potentially coul be hitted by some aoe

    seriusly, i'm bored of this topic every times it come up. If you're so willing to see an interactive movie when someone kill a primal, just ask to istance primal fight like leve quests: everyone can see it, but nobody else touch it

    it's actualli pretty clear

    -let's say ifrit it's unclaimed and he pop an arena after claim as you like. With this, 3 alliance can move near hime while a 4° alliance claim it, resulting in 72 persons hitting ifrit. Totally right, no ?
    -it isn't fun at all, even if it's their fault

    Do you know like work leve quests ? Ok, ask primal fight like that, so you can see your primal in open world while being in fact istanced. Was so difficult to understand ?
