You should consider the minimum/required specs before installing a game.

We weren't "shitting up" anything, we were clearly stating that this could get him banned, and before buying a game he should check his system reqs to make sure he meets them.

Pointless? Some of the things suggested were against ToS. He could have ended up with no access to his account. period. let alone a mount. Nobody is ever above the rules, under no exceptions. I didn't see YOU do anything proactive in this situation either, other than just whining about the people simply reiterating the ToS, to prevent him and others from breaking it and possibly end up loosing their accounts.
