You know what Final Fantasy XIV desperately needs?

I see all these calls for PVP but can't understand how it fits into the story at all. Why would the three Grand Companies be at war with each other? I can do without.

Well it's post 7th umbral era, and the 3 companies do somewhat hate each other. I think it would work.
