    Incap Love.

I love the incap system, attacking certain body parts for effects on monsters and different loot pools. It added some much needed complexity to combat.

Hope to see more of it in future content.

Seems like it died off in recent patches,

There is no real use anymore to incap bosses or mobs, hope they aren't doing away with it. =(

Correct me if Im wrong, but WoW didnt have incap. And they are trying to make the transition for WoW players to FF14 as easy as possible so.... yea.

lol this reminds me of a few days ago when i hit carpenter lv50.
I needed to find some Green Megalocrab shells for the crab bows i was gonna make.

I had to incapacitate crabs from behind i think with maim on my warrior for them to drop the shell.
(yes after countless crab kills, this is what you must do)

God knows how many hours i spent on finding the perfect spot for TP'ing up enough TP to Incap a Crab.
I think i run around all over eorzea just to find high levels crabs & in the end i ended up in "Cassiopeia Hollow".

Well i manage to tp up incap a few ones & finally BAM there it was, "Green Megalocrab Shell".

    I just went WOHOOOOO !!!

That was the most exiciting thing that had happen in days.
Almost felt like i was back in FFXI, and got the drop from Leaping Lizzy or something lol

Thank you! ^^ it was Epic indeed, atleast for a few seconds lol.
It was very difficult to perform, 1 miss and i had to spend 5minutes tp'ing up on low mobs
then quickly find a crab before my tp went below 1500 again lol.

Depends on how you look at it, i would imagine "Sheeping" a mob in
    WoW would count as incapacitation.

But then again, this is about "removing" bodyparts from mobs disabling them or certain abilities.

Like the "Aldgoats", you can remove their horns still,
making it impossible for them do a Major knockback move.
(it only reduces the knockback distance) and gives a chance for them to drop the Aldgoat horns.

I still find this Incap stuff to be awesome feature & should be left ingame.

(oh btw, i did this on my main account...not this current one im posting on forums with lol)

That seems like a really dumb reason not to implement something.

Incap is extremely important in ifrit extreme, and if you were to go melee on chimera incap is a must as well.

Ifrit Extreme must be incapped 3x during the fight or else its a wipe. Also some of the factions in the relic quest such as MNK have bosses, where incapacitation is very important as well.
