GC's are important to the lore of this game.

No, not a wizard/mage argument.

Just not getting enough of a patriotic feeling from any of the grand companies. Yes, the leader of the company knows of me, the officers praise me alot, but there is something missing.

It's like joining the nation during the 20 year war in Vana'diel. I was a paladin joining the knights of San'doria, fighting side by side with a powerful general who could take on an entire battalion. You fight by their side and you can actually make the difference whether a fort loses a fight or wins. Like a real invasion.

The events of the Garlean Empire have been leaving something to be desired, and unfortunately it's too late now. I literally stood by the rock by Ul'dah where the garleans attack and the troops were just standing there doing nothing. No Generals, no leaders, no army on the allies side attacking.

The Grand Companies do not fight by my side as I attack the Empire, so why should I feel any loyalty to that company? There was so much hype for the Grand Companies and they've done... really nothing. All that's left is to see how it all ends with this last patch before 2.0.

I must say, for Maelstrom, I love AveKyuubi's banner, perfectly blended.

For my home though (Gridania, Twin Adder) I absolutely love Button's entry. I'm sure there are better designs out there, but for me a little lala full of hope under the banner of the Twin Adders has everything. Honourable mention to Punainen's effort too, but so much going on I cannot see it all and I have a huge screen. GL to all though

egh i found myself skipping 90% of the cutscenes. the 5% percent were Primal cs, and the other 5 with Legatus of the VIIth Legion, The White Raven Nael van Darnus.

I disagree. It would make the process way easier though. You can still do a lot though when you consider effects, blending modes, and filters.

True. Its interesting to see that with so few assets to work with, every single person has a completely different take on a banner idea and has a different way to present it. Thats what makes it interesting.

When creating your banner, please adhere to the following guidelines:
(*Entries that do not follow the guidelines will not be accepted.)
Banner size must be 450 pixels wide and 150 pixels tall (450x150)
File type must be .JPG, .PNG, or .GIF
Aside from the images provided by Square Enix, you may use other FINAL FANTASY XIV-related assets such as official screenshots, concept art or your own personal screenshots
Personal artwork, such as fan art, will not be accepted
You must utilize the Grand Company sigil in the banner
You can only represent one Grand Company
The banner may not be animated
