    A RDM would be a lot more effective with how this game is set up, having the ability to cure and nuke some also being able to stand in the front lines and smash a mob with a sword or dagger with some kind of Enspell would be neat. Since it doesn't use a skill system the nukes would actually be effective, cure is already effective, and all melee is effective in some since or another. Though I guess debuffing would be big for them as well, since there really isn't much of that in the game right now for bosses.

    I hope they add new jobs as well. However, before jobs are added I'd like more storyline oriented things.

    As far as PvP is concerned....

    I know a lot of people are excited about PvP. It's become a bit of a standard in the present MMO market.

    I also know that we're getting PvP. So I won't waste my breath about how it shouldn't be added.

    However, I do wish it is something that I can easily avoid whether it is by zones, servers, or otherwise. That way the people who don't want to do PvP aren't forced into it.

    They could also add things like arena matches, Uldah does have a Colosseum. They could make the matches PvP or against mobs... XD

    Personally, I'd warm up to the idea of PvP if it was set up more like ballista in FFXI. As in, people who want to participate in PvP sign up and participate in a match, that way people who are questing/riding through/etc the area aren't dragged in or ganked. I enjoyed watching some of the ballista matches lol.

    Yoshi has already stated in several interviews that there will be a whole new story line and that there will be lots of new quests and missions for people to do while leveling up... So I think he is fine in asking for new jobs at some point after 2.0... really now...

    How many dungeons and dragons games have you played with completely new classes / hybrid classes because you wanted something new? We don't need to reinvent the wheel, Tanaka has clearly shown us this.

    The debuffing thing puzzles me. FF always has had monsters hitting you with really disabling spells which you can only overcome with Esuna, potions and debuffing gear. This game has rotten weak debuffing but no monsters disabling you with these spells. I suspect 2.0 is going to have some nasty monsters throwing really effective time magic, poison, silence, etc. But if they do they have to give us some really effective debuffing gear, or maybe a class that has all the really effective buffs like Haste, and... hmmm... Ryukku (Riku) as a Thief was good at this... I think... but then sometimes she was more of a Mechanic.. tearing the guts out of robots.
