I don't care for dueling but as long as I don't have to participate I don't mind if others do. However I would like an option to automatically ignore all duel requests... I don't even want to have to see the requests.

The spamming of requests in WoW was so bad I actually downloaded an addon that just denied them all.

I support duels anywhere any time in the game world outside of cities. They are a fun way to pass time and practice with friends or strangers spontaneously without having to deal with a separate queue system.

If you don't want to deal with someone /dueling you repeatedly, put them on /ignore and submit a ticket for player harassment, just like how you would deal with any other form of in-game harassment.

We asked the man himself and he let us know that the dev. team have indeed considered implementing dueling, but that it's currently not a high priority at the moment.

On person says that want dueling and its being considered. Even though that could cause all kinds of balancing issues.

However, tonnes of people ask for swimsuits, which require nothing but an npc to sell them. And SE is unable to so it.

They did consider the swimsuits, and they decided they didn't want to do them this year,. They are going to do something else for the summer event and do swimsuits next year.

You need to understand that the game already flopped. The whole point of 2.0 is to introduce some new ideas and attract more people. If thats too much for you to handle, then you should find another game.

You're so wrong it hurts. And I don't even want dueling either. But a)They said the dev team had already considered this BEFORE this thread was made. and (b) Duels by themselves would not cause balance issues, as stated, it would only be an extension of PVP, which they are already implementing/balancing.

and (c) who caaaaaaaaares about the swimsuits GOSH, it was a limited-time seasonal event item. Get Over It! and wait for them to come around again

I can't believe such a stupid post got a Like.

First of all more than one person wanted duelling. Second of all, "balancing issues" can be solved with "balancing". So don't sweat it. Plus, there's already PvP anyways.

Third of all, swimsuits have nothing to do with this.

Fourth of all, they SHOULD be prioritising game features over of swimsuits anyway.

Fifth of all, if this game decides to implement a feature for people to PvP where and when they want to at nobody else's expense, then that doesn't make it a WoW clone, that just makes it good.

Honestly, PvP was always done right in FF11.
