So, about us getting new media "all summer long"

Delays on patches and release dates are one thing. But the lack of news on the Lodestone and updates on the new website is just horrific. All players are different...there's the ones who play all day, work like 20 hours a week (if that) and don't even care to look at the Lodestone and find out new news because they're too busy gamging.

Then there's players like me, who work 45 hour weeks...behind a computer, with access to anything FFXIV, and have nothing new to read or see about the game. It's killing me waking up every morning, going to work, and then going to the Lodestone to find nothing new...not even interesting dev posts.

I can't imagine what the hold up is when it comes to screenshots, patch notes, etc. Some of us just can't be patient enough when we have all the time in the world to lurk the forums for new news and just end up dissapointed. Come on devs, throw us a bone!

When I was working, Id spend all day reading and chatting about FF14 online when I didnt have something to do. This was prior to the release of the game. When it was released, I spent all day white knighting on forums, until I finally accepted jesus into my heart- I mean finally accepted that the game was bollocks.

I hear that man! I can't stand it here anymore. I'm a web designer, so I'm on the web all day long. And I'm the head designer, so there's nothing that can be said to me no matter what I'm doing, unless of course my work wasn't getting done. But I'm always on here, looking for news and good topics. But my plan is to get outta here asap, and get back to freelancing where it was actually worth it. Work from home, make more money, and game. Back to a healthy routine. This job is just nauseating.

And guys...being impatient is one thing, but anticipating at least SOME kind of new news after 8 days of nothing should be normal for players like me, that get 3-4 hours max a day to play, and that's only when I get to actually play. Most of the time I just log on the game and stand around for an hour or so until my girlfriend makes me pick her up from work. It sucks that I can't dedicate more time to the game the way I'd like to. But what would at least be nice is some good stuff to read about when I do have some time to myself. -___-
