Favorite FFXI and FFXIV track so far?

First off, thanks OP for making this topic (I'm always a fan of VGM for FF games and the online ones are no exception).

FFXI:
Want to start off by saying there are TONS of good tracks here but I'll list only a few (didn't play beyond ToAU) -
The Celestial Capital of Al'taieu (this song has quite the pacifying effect)
The Grand Duchy of Jeuno
Sarutabaruta
Jeweled Boughs

FFXIV:
Coerthas BGM
Navigator's Glory (LL BGM and this song just screams "epic adventure GO!")

P.S: Music in FFXIV isnt as good as FFXI and sometime i like to play FFXIV with the music of XI lol

I remember before the game came out this song was floating around and we called it Morose Melody. (I think this was it.) Anyway reminds me of when I first started.

I played the game very linear... ly and I didn't venture outside my starting city until required by my new quest.

I walked south to Tranquil and down to where the Twelvewood ended.

I came out in Thanalan at night with this quiet piano music music playing. I think I stood there looking up for about 5 minutes. So many stars! Sunrise happen before I got to Uldah, I had to stare at that too.

Boy when you spend all your time in Grid you really start missing a sky! Glad that will be fixed in 2.0.

Haha, that is a fun song! When starting up FFXI, this is the first song I heard while venturing out into Ronfaure with my little brother.

I hate this thread....so very much. I'm THIS close to reinstalling FFXI. But I really shouldn't. Not much waiting for me there. But damn so much nostalgia. I miss those days where I rode the boat while listening to "voyager". I miss taking airships around. I can remember my first time listening to the music when I reached lufaise meadows. The epic battle songs when battling the AA, the older(but smaller) zilart brother, Promathia, Alexander. God so many good memories...I really hate this thread lol.

S-E should really look at what FFXI did right. I hope 2.0 won't let me down on the music/zone combinations.

Also, I'm not going to suggest any songs. Most if not all of them were already listed in Funky's and Ramesses list.
