New Title for 2.0?

I was thinking of this since I woke up this morning and was killing Opo-opos in the Muy-Tuy Cellars. Say you didn't get into the Legacy beta (or whatever it is), but you want to show new members you were here, in 14, before patch 2.0 came out?

Just like with Legacy, SE could say 'if you had an active subscription since (enter a date here) when 2.0 comes out you will automatically receive (title here)'

The title would be only for those who had an active subscription pre-2.0, and would be for everyone no matter what payment plan you have, to make it fair for all.

I was thinking 'Pilgrim of Eorzea' would be a appropriate title but I want to hear what ideas you guys would have. We can't let those who got into Legacy have all the fun, now can we? 8D

This is exactly what the Legacy program was intended to be. You just get a chocobo instead of a title.

If you missed out on Legacy status because you just joined the game, that's unfortunate, but could have been easily avoided.

Well basically it is a good Idea.. but i highly doubt we will see something like that. MAYBE we will get something from finishing the "Imperial Questline", which could be an indicator.

We've been told a long time ago that people who played through the 7th Umbral Era content were going to receive something unique to them in 2.0 and it's been a waiting game ever since.

I hope it's not something as simple as a title because I for one would never use it.

Actually I took a break because of my computer and had no idea that they were doing the Legacy thing until it was over with, so if I knew beforehand I would've joined in a heartbeat.

I only thought of this because it isn't really fair to people like me (who have really sucky computers that crap out on you) that had no chance of joining Legacy have nothing to show they were here before everything changed around (minus the Onion helm but anyone can buy the CE so it's not really something unique).

The legacy chocobo and whatever we'll receive from the 7th Umbral Era are two separate things. I'm not sure where everyone got this idea from.

I know they're two separate things. I didn't KNOW we could get something for finished the 7th Umbral Era quest line.
