More Diverse Hair Options in 2.0

YES THIS!! I want hair as long as Tifa's: the original tifa! not the AC one D: or at least hip length. The fact that there is no diversity makes me sad ; ; Short female hair styles are OK..but can we have long ones too please, SE? It does not feel very final fantasyish with such short hair. All my favorite heroins have had long long hair ; ;

I think the development team wants long hair too.

Unfortunately there are engine limitations. I can't pull the specific source post but, the reason we can't have long hair is the same reason we can't have capes. If we did have long hair (and capes) it would be horribly anti-climactic because it wouldn't be able to flow and longer hair (and capes) would look more fake for if they were actually implemented rather than just forgoing them outright.

Not to repeat "it's coming in 2.0" but if I remember correctly the same post I'm "referring" (term used loosely) to mentioned that the new engine would be significantly more capable of displaying such things. Even then, we won't be getting anywhere near the fluidity of say, Lightning's cape/scarf in XIII.

It seems the "hard" ponytail options we get for a lot of the female hairstyles was a compromise. Developers really wanted to have long hair, but couldn't justify that hair not moving well.

In other words, they didn't want vanilla Skyrim hairstyles, and honestly, I applaud them for making that decision. Those hairstyles are atrocious. Love the game though.

no reason SE cant make a new texture for some current hair models as well as add new ones like this.

Yeah, I almost went with that hair because it was long but I didn't like the look of it on my character. It looks good on yours though ^^

I do want proper shaggy looking long hair for male characters instead of this super straightened option (singular) we have now.

Also as ridiculous as this sounds......I would kill for a hi-top fade.

I'm down for more hair options as well as a barbershop option.

I'd really like to see long hair and more braided hair period.

I'd also like to see each race be able to pick and choose a style they find desirable.

What if I want an elf with buns a la Chun Li style!

I am with others please give me longer hair! I would be so happy if they can give us more options. I chose the style i felt looked the longest and i would love to see my character with her hair let down as i know it would be long and flowing!!
