To the people who think the market wards add immersion as well as make the game more interesting and unique: you're right, but it's at the cost of efficiency and consistent crashes in ul'dah wards.

I don't know about immersion. Frustrating game mechanics are the opposite of immersion.

I think the market wards are alot better. I think they should adjust the number of things placed in a bazaar to more than what it currently is. I fthey dont include the AH they should link the MW'S FROM ALL THE CITY-STATES

dam right i miss the AH.. specially check up the last details of the item and check the prices to see how much you should put you're item up for. Can't really do that in the market wards.

Not to mention market wards crash and retainers have to be resummoned, You would never have to resummon an auction house.

exactly you think your crap is selling and your retainer isnt even out.... also you cannot gauge average pricing of items that are not being sold atm AH vs mw no contest ah is better!

I, too, feel that the market wards, with a bit more tweaking, will do the same job as an auction house. There could be an NPC that links the 3 market wards, have your item delivered to you from another city's market ward... for a price. That would be just like an auction house, but in the market wards. You want it without have to go to the retainer? Pay a delivery fee.

I, personally, really like the market wards. Browsing through the inventory of retainers is just like shopping! You get to find stuff at a really low price that you would have otherwise overlooked to search for (ah~ forgetful memory!).
I do understand why people want auction houses though, it is faster. But, what if the market wards were to become as fast and easy to use?

Well, it would still be nice to have an actual counter with an NPC instead of a bunch of people standing in a line right infront of the market wards...

You know what i would love, if they add moghouses with AH, and after you buy in AH you would have to run to your mog house to retrive itams . MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..

We don't really need an auction house, the market wards do everything an AH does except that you have to pick up your item(s).

What does an AH do that you can't do in the wards?

an AH can carry limitless amounts of people and the wards can and never will be able to accommodate to any population increases in the future. Solve this problem, and you have a case, but the wards suck as is, they offer nothing an AH can't offer and they are more cumbersome than an AH.
